John Schneider MD, MA, FACS is a Master Certified Physician Development Coach and Associate Professor of Otolaryngology, Division Chief of Rhinology at Washington University of Medicine in Saint Louis.
A recovering social science student, John pursued medicine but found himself returning to those social science roots by studying the complex communication challenges in medicine.
That led him to appreciating how physicians’ careers are shaped by many cognitive, ethical, and psychological challenges that often require more philosophical inquiry.
As a physician coach he is dedicated to helping his fellow physicians navigate the challenges of this noble profession, and remains dedicated to patient care.
